George Lopez at Nokia

George Lopez is one of my favorite comedians, and he is going to be here May 8th and 9th at Nokia theatre in Grand Prairie. It's called the "Tall, Dark & Chicano Tour." You may know George from his popular sitcom, which is about him and the many complications that he faces everyday. If your looking for a good time and to laugh really hard that it makes you want to pee yourself. Then this is the stand up comedic that you must see. tickets are still pretty low, they are about $40-$60 and the show starts at 8:00pm but they open their doors at 7.

Edgefest

I know many people that have gone to Edgefest but i have never attended to it myself. Well this year may be the first because alot of bands that i enjoy listening will be performing there. Korn(headline) with the support by 311, Blue October, Papa Roach, Shinedown, Taking Back Sunday, the Used, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and 10 Years and the Airborne Toxic Event. All these bands will be on the Main Stage and on the Side Stage will be Anberlin, Electric Touch, Framing Hanley, Aranda and the Veer Union. Tickets are on sale now so you better go out and get them before they are sold out because this concert is going to awesome. It will be on may 9 on saturday and from my sources it will be from 11 a.m to 12 a.m. at Pizza Hut Park.

Disturbed in Dallas

One of my favorite bands "Disturbed" will be at nokia theatre in Grand Prairie on March 31 at 7p.m. There are tickets for sale now ranging from $152-$353. Disturbed is a pretty popular band and well known by everybody that listens to rock or metal. If you know who they are you should go see them and if you don't then you should still go see them because they play very intriguing music and the lyrics are pretty deep (on some songs). If you do decide to go act fast and buy some tickets because most of them are sold out and there are only a few left.

Walk Like MADD

Walk like MADD is a 5k race to eliminate drunk driving. Anybody can join the race all you have to do is show up,but if your doing it for a school club for comunity service all you have to do is sign up. last year i went for my school organization "SADD" and it was so much fun. i learned alot about what drunk driving does. I knew that it was bad and some people are affected by it, but when you go you find out alot more, such as what it does to you and your body, that everyone is affected and the consequences. i will be re-entering because it was fun last year, it's for a good cause, and i want to learn more about it. Lil Wayne in Miami, Florida

Im not to much of a big rap fan but Lil wayne sparks an interest in me. I know most of you readers like him so i think you should come to his next concert, which isn't too far away from now. He will be at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida on December 14th at 7:00 pm bringing his "I Am Music tour". The concert will also feature performances by T-Pain, Keisha Cole, and Gym Class Heroes. Tickets are on sale now but they're also going out fast.

Madagascar 2

This movie was released November 7, 2008 (today). the reason i'm so interested in this film is because the name of the movie is called "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa", but thats not what is was originally called. the original name of this flim is "Madagascar: The Crate Escape". The producer says that the name of the film is still the crate escape because thats what they registered the name as. so whats the escape 2 africa about? The writers and producer are thinking about making a third film but first there gonna see how the sequel goes. If you liked the first one the you'll most likely like the second one.

HALLOWEEN

This friday is Halloween. It's not really a holiday but people treat as if it was anyway. So go out buy a very gruesome and trick-or-treat to take pleasure in the one day out of the whole year where you can enjoy your youth, for which you don't have for to long.
